José Antonio Morales (“JAM”) is the Sales and Operations Leader for Compass UOL in Latin America. Compass UOL—the largest AWS partner in the region—supports organizations in their digital transformation by helping them harness the power of data, Artificial Intelligence, and Generative AI. Since joining the company, JAM has established local operations in multiple countries, strengthened delivery for large enterprise customers, and introduced a business- and industry-driven approach to solving complex digital challenges.

Before joining Compass UOL, JAM served as the Head of the Partner Organization for Latin America at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, he led the teams responsible for recruiting, enabling, developing, and accelerating the growth of more than 13,000 companies across 33 countries within the AWS Partner Network (APN) and through AWS Marketplace. His organization was recognized for its deep customer and partner focus, as well as for creating innovative programs and services that helped a diverse partner community build and scale sustainable businesses.

Prior to AWS, JAM held several regional leadership roles within global technology companies such as SAP and Cisco Systems. At SAP, he served as Vice President of Business Development for Latin America (2015–2017). At Cisco, he held key positions including Regional Director of the Partner Organization (2013–2015) and Director of Strategy and Planning for Latin America (2008–2013), where he defined the regional sales strategy and supported more than 2,000 team members in aligning go-to-market initiatives, planning processes, and customer success priorities.
