A Venezuelan-born U.S. citizen, Luis is a multilingual global citizen, fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. He has visited over 50 countries and lived in Eastern Europe, South America, and the United States. Beyond his professional endeavors, Luis is passionate about endurance sports, music, and songwriting, and enjoys spending time outdoors. Luis holds a BA in International Business from California State University, Fullerton, and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. Carlos Perea is a seasoned global business leader with over three decades of experience driving innovation in 5G networking, cybersecurity, AI, and IoT. As the Senior Vice President for Latin America, Enterprise Wireless Solutions at Ericsson, Carlos leads transformative initiatives that redefine connectivity and security for businesses in the region.

Carlos has spent these past four years building Cradlepoint’s operations in Latin America from the ground up, a venture that now forms the foundation of Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions. His efforts positioned the company as a leader in cloud-delivered 5G and cybersecurity, expanding its presence across industries such as retail, healthcare, transportation, and financial services. Before Cradlepoint, Carlos held executive roles at leading technology firms, including Extreme Networks, Gigamon, and Infovista, where he consistently delivered market expansion, revenue growth, and operational excellence.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Carlos is an entrepreneur and investor. As the founder of Venture Capital Investments, he supports transformative ventures in AI, SpaceTech, and FinTech, combining his business acumen with a passion for endurance sports.
